As an experienced professional transitioning from Industrial Engineering to Software Engineering, I possess a commitment to continuous improvement and iterative development. I am actively pursuing opportunities where I can make a tangible difference in people's lives by tackling complex problems on a global scale.
Since my first role as a project engineer, I began envisioning my professional journey as a progression toward my ultimate dream job. With each new initiative, I have embraced opportunities to learn, developed my skills, and pushed myself beyond my current state. However, as my career advanced, I eventually found myself on a path, with little enthusiasm for the multiple careers within reach. At this point, I made the decision to take the skills and experiences I had acquired and embark on a fresh path.
Software Engineering has become the perfect fit, as it allows me to work on challenging problems that keep me engaged and coming back for more. Frontend Development, in particular, provides the visual satisfaction of seeing my creativity come to life. And, in a world that thrives on continuous learning, I find myself effortlessly immersed in my work, constantly "geeking" out on new technologies and methodologies. If I possessed the ability to turn back the hands of time, I would have opted to major in Computer Science with a minor in Psychology and Design. Nevertheless, I am determined to bridge any knowledge gaps and continue to enhance my skill set by immersing myself in ongoing learning opportunities.
